DFW Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

The faded Ford is a 1990 GT.. Still going strong at 113K miles, knocking down 26mpg on my daily 70 mile roundtrip commute.

I have a 1990 GT that was my father's. Almost 140K and very stock.

White Ford GT with blue stripes
Silver 550 Maranello
Black 996 Turbo

 

I've got a corner office with a view of the 75, and I still havent seen a Ferrari. But today I just saw the WIENERMOBILE!!!

 

Saw a silver Continental GT and red Smart car drive by while at a gas station in Plano.

 

Red/tan 348 yesterday on I-30 east headed into Dallas around 6:30pm.

 

Steel Gray Maserati Quattroporte on Lovers Lane today around 11.45..

 

A new British car place opened up here in Lewisville. I stopped by today to look at a rare sight -- a row of TR7s. They had a couple of cool FIATs too, an X1/9 and an 850 Spider

TdF Blue 360 Spyder at NW Highway and Thackery in Preston Hollow around 8pm tonight.

Rossa corsa 456 driving eastbound on Northwest Highway at North park. I didn't like the color in pictures but in person the 456 takes the color far better than any two plus two. It looked quite nice.

Just saw a Delorean driving through the Tom Thumb parking lot in Keller. I haven't seen one of those on the road in a LONG time.

 

I saw one a couple months ago driving out of Dallas Love Field... I too hadn't seen one in a long time... followed it a while checking it out. Interesting... but I couldn't call it a "rolling work of art".

 

Bwahaha... funny plate!! But I wouldn't have the guts... for fear of a lawyer-hater abusing the car. (Several movies with recently divorced women come to mind. )

 

Forgot to post I saw a very nice example on 635 at 75 with a cute 40 something blonde driving.

 

I finally saw a Ferrari out of my office window. South bound on 75 and Royal. It was a red GT4, and it was being followed closely by a highway patrol car!! (Lights weren’t on yet, but it looked eminent.) So if you are the lucky one who got a reckless driving ticket, I'll testify for you. You weren’t reckless, you were very much in control doing what looked like 100mph.

I saw him too. The lights never went on, I moved over and he went right on by.

How did I look? Not too bad for 32 years old huh?
