Here's my pics from the Challenge Rally in Oregon this month. A very well organized event, fantastic roads, amazing cars and a nice bunch of people to hang with. A very enjoyable time was had by all. A few people got nabbed for speeding, including a few who got more than one ticket. BruceJ got a fat ticket for 123mph in a 55 zone. In the era of cellphones, a lot of people fueled by jealousy and spite made reports to the police about Ferraris driving "recklessly" so it was like a cross between Smokey & The Bandit and the Keystone Kops out on the roads. The truth about the driving, for the most part was that speeds that I observed were consistent for the conditions of the roads/traffic; this was borne out by the fact that for the 40,000 total miles driven there was not a single accident that I am aware of.

More about the rally is here

    But here are my pics.

First of all, the drive down.... (the Rosso Scuderia vs Corsa difference really shows up in these pics)

Absolutely! The rally organizers did an incredible job of finding roads that offered amazing driving experiences (like twisties under a complete canopy of trees), or roads that had incredible vistas. We were always in a rush to make the next time control, so there was very little time to really enjoy all the scenery and even less time to photograph it.... I highly recommend the event to anyone serious about cars, and am definitely going to sign up for next year...
