    Did the invites come through your dealership or FNA? I'll be at Pebble but haven't received anything about the 599 unveiling yet (I'm registered on Ferrari Owners website).

    Is the release of the 599 going to be at Pebble beach?
    Any word from Ferrari?
    Has anyone heard when dealers will have their first car?

    Seems to be the case. While Ferrari never actually said what their event it, it seems to be that evidence shows its the 599 intro.

    I was at my dealer today. On the East Coast of the US, cars are to appear the first week in November.

    I don't mean to change topic, but for those of you who love the design of the 599 (I am one of them), do you think that by Ferrari putting the new 599 engine in the 612 (I assume they will not be producing 2 12 cyl engines) and give the 612 3rd Generation F1, that the cars will be way too similar?

    Yes, one is a 2+2 and one is strictly a 2 seater, but my god they both will be rocketships.

    V12's concerned, 550/575 was better performing/looking (IMHO) than the 456 (all versions) so it was easy to understand the serious depreciation the 456 took (automatic and 2+2 factor in as well).

    Think people will pay more for the 599 looks? I assume Ferrari is counting on this..

    Seems like the straight up MSRP is higher on the 612...

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

    i saw a yellow one lapping fiorano when i was in italy in late march and it sounds as good as it looks

    anyone know if there is daytona seats options for the 599 or is there just carbon fibre racing seats?

    No, but to be honest, what we did get was better..which was a nice sized lithograph of the car (1/2000). Will take a picture of it later.
