I found out via an SMS message from Michael Schumacher.

 

Andrew (amenesce) mentioned it on ************* and i found my way over here and have been hooked (on ferraris that is) since

 

Was looking up pictures of google image of Ferraris (started with the 348) and didn't find great pics that I wanted. So I Googled 'Ferrari Forums' and found F-Chat.

 

Spam email sent Rob sent through the old FerrariList email digest

 

Am i the only one that uses yahoo instead of googlle...lol

A friend was telling me everyday to check out this site and it was too much annoyance that I finally decided to give a look at it and I just stayed here...

Searched for Ferrari related websites when I got seriously interested in late 2001...I found Fchat and Tom Yang.

 

MY PO resided on FTalk and someone on Ftalk was talking about the rivelry between the two rooms, so I came over here to ck it out. Fchat is about 50x more active , so I stayed. Without Fchat , I doubt that I'd own a Ferrari, the support and info here is invaluable for a DIY'er like me.

 

I'd just written a check for a Ferrari I'd never seen and was trying to plan a trip of 1700 miles to get it home. IIRC, I was trying to figure out how much 'trunk' space there was for my bags, did a search, and wound up here. I posted my question on the size of the area behind the engine and figured if I was lucky, I'd have an answer in a few days. I checked back later that afternoon and Rob had already responded with the dimensions.

Todays useless trivia:

The maximum temperature reached in the area behind the engine during a 1700 mile drive over 3 days in August was 111 degrees.

 

I was just looking for information or pictures of Ferrari's here in Singapore and was brought here to the Asian Forums, then i just looked around alot more and learnt pretty much all i know here

On 3 August 2002, I was contacted by an anonymous party - a guy who claims to be Rob Lay's arch nemesis. This guy e-mailed me a link to FerrariChat and proposed riches beyond my wildest dreams if I would register here and incessantly annoy Rob.

I've yet to see any riches, beyond my wildest dreams or otherwise. But annoying Rob is so much fun that I just decided to stay.
