My 02 360 has stock rims and stock P Zero tires, which call for 32psi fronts, and 29psi rears. (according to the tag inside passenger side door). I am curious as to why there is a 3 psi difference, and, more importantly, why the fronts require more than the rears? I woud think it would be the other way around.

Ferrari has an engineer that among other responsibilities works as a liason with his counter part from the various tire companies that supply the tires. Every tire/car combination is tested at Fiorano by those two with the help of one of the test drivers to arrive at the pressures that provide the handling qualities desired. Unlike other makes the recommended pressures are not arrived at by some guy with a calculator.
