so was the 997 easily the quickest car there? how did the G end up comparing to the 430? you guys lack so much detail! don't need pics...we know what the cars look like!

Quickest in terms of acceleration yes, top speed was pretty even amongst all the cars....though none of them were actually red-lined in 6th (or 7th in the BMW's). The 997 beat the F430 by about 4 car lengths in the drags (0-200kmh, maybe a bit more). The F430 beat the G's, but not by much. It got the jump both times and was slowly being reeled in. I'll let scud elaborate on the high-speed stability but for me the F430 felt by far the more stable and "safer" car at 280+ (from passenger seat POV) We have a great video of the F430 vs orange Gallardo (with tubi - BEST sounding car!!!!) - pretty much side by side all the way from 20kmh - 280kmh. I was in the G and Ash in the F430, so footage from both cars.
MOTOR editor was driving the 997 and scud in the F430, his mate didn't drive either car during the drags.
