Have had several meetings with the transport dept about it, have checked all the regs and it complies. Its running full emissions systems and will be tested in one of the labs to EURO4. There are a few guys in Germany who have passed the TUV testing there, which is I believe the most stringent of regs. I am getting an engineers report done for them pre-inspection.

    Yep, that was me...

Congratulations! That is one hell of a way to stand out in the crowd in HK!

I was also told about this/you by Encrust Customs. In fact, I am now considering buying one of these, but to leave up at the track in Zhuhai. I'm sure its still a lot cheaper than a Porsche 996 Cup Car (another potential alternative) which are hovering around HK$600k for a reasonably good-conditioned one.

I'd love to come and have a look if you don't mind. I'll send you a PM.

If you ever take it out to Zhuhai track, I would love to see what kind of lap times it can do. Good luck on getting it registered in HK.

I only just looked at PM's I received from some of you guys a while back.

mdraeger, charleswan, banduga , you have PM's with my number. You're welcome to drop by anytime and have a look.

I have just come back from the Hot Rod Power Tour. The twin turbo was not ready so we used the old LS6 engine - 500hp. We drove Chicago>Florida straight, 24 hours stopping only for fuel....

Did a total of 4200 miles in 9 days..... Cant wait to get mine on the road now... should be there in 6-8 weeks.

    How's it>?

What engine you intend to use? Is it registered for hong kong road yet?

She's just about ready to fire up.

The engine is a supercharged 2005 LS2 Corvette engine, 6000cc. Its completely stock, apart form the blower. We dyno'd it in the USA, with the stock cast manifolds and stock vette catalytic converters it pulled 580hp and 555ft/lbs torque. With headers and freeflow cats Im expecting 610-620hp.

    It weighs 980kg.

Ive had a change of plans on the upholstery this week, getting the seats redone in black leather with alacontra inserts, all with red stitching.

Wow, The standard Ultima already holds the record for 0-100-0. Wonder if all that power can be translated into forward movement or will it end up the same way as the Weissman Cobras
