We have space available at our facility...right over the Brooklyn Bridge and near the highway.

NYC is really rough on cars....I cringe everytime one of our clients takes their car for a drive in the city.

Sorry Vic, I don't have anything useful to add about a CGT, but I will throw in my $.02 about driving a sportscar/exotic/vespa/etc in NYC: do it! People act like Manhattan is a 3rd world country sometimes. Yes, there are potholes and badly paved roads. But, it can still be done with much enjoyment!

Btw, it's not the coblestone/unpaved 14th St that's the problem -- it's speedbumps! I've seen them starting to show up around schools now. How am I supposed to drive recklessly around schools now? sheesh.

I have taken mine into the city a few times. My garage is top notch and the only issue was their ramp - I backed it in, then turned it around and backed it down. Not sure it mattered but I doubt you could have slid a penny under the chin - it was THAT close.

My F430 has been in once thus far. My only scrape was outside of the city - in a friend's driveway - figures!

Never have an issue with driving around tho I am very careful and rarely traverse the streets - I stay on the Drive most of the time and drive a dozen blocks to and from the garage.

has anyone ever thought of swapping out the front CF with another material? Probably much cheaper than putting a lift kit on the car.

Nabbs, generally agree with you 100%, but with the CGT the issue is that if the carbon fiber dam gets cracked because of a bad hit, it's virtually impossible to patch up. With other sports cars, a good touch up can generally cover the scrapes on the chin, but it's a completely different ball game with the CGT.

I'm not sure how relevant this is, but I've seen a Carrera GT in Montreal (and we do have our fair share of potholes and crazy drivers thank you). Rumor has it a local keeps his McLaren F1 downtown as well. Granted Montreal is 1/100th of NY and you can escape quite quickly ... still some guys drive their supercars on crap roads.
