    The FIA decision clearly states...

    ************
The device known as a Tuned Mass Damper is an infringement of Article 3.15 of the Formula One Technical Regulations.
    ************

Article 3.15 was there at the start of the season too. So it was always illegal to use mass dampers.

We are still wiating for your quote that Charlie Whiting has changed his mind?

Yes the FIA regs NOW clearly state. They did not at the start of the season or last year. Article 3.15 was there but it did not include TMD as they weren't ruled illegal until Aug 22nd. You lose again. Can you show where it specifically states that mass dampers are strictly banned from the beginiing of the year? Of course not. What Ferrari did was more unethical by starting the year with those flex wings that had been banned all the way back in 99. Then being so brilliant as to put a camera so everyone could see it flex. The unethical Ferrari team, yeah that has a nice ring to it................:)

The Mass-Dampers were in clear violation of Article 3.15 as it stood before August 22nd, 2006. Given that Renault was using illegal equipment that violated the rules set forth at the start of season, it is clear that Renault is an unethical team with a deep lack of respect for the F1.

You give a new meaning to the words... perennial loser!

... we are still waiting for your quote that Charlie Whiting changed his mind?

You keep repeating the same thing. You have no arguement yet again. If the mass damper was illegal all the time the car wouldn't have been allowed to race, period. My point proven. If you could at least admit it I might respect you a little but since you can't, I don't. On the quote, you can wait till the cows come home. There was enough flip flopping on the matter for an intelligent person to see it. I don't need a quote to prove my point. Enough of this, Goodbye, Impytroll.

The point is that Renault hid their use of mass-dampers from the FIA. Had the FIA known about it... they would have banned it earlier.

Renaut cheated and hid their use of illegal equipment untill Ron made a formal complaint to the FIA. Then the FIA banned the illegal mass-dampers thatwere always in violation of Article 3.15.

so... we are still waiting for the quote that Charlie Whiting changed his mind?
