Linking to the original quote will be very helpful, I like. I don't see what weird icon you are talking about Simon? Maybe it has been fixed

oh good point jason. Must be the red x IE thing when the image doesn't exist. Mine just doesn't show anything at all, because I'm using firefox.

Another thing is that the posts aren't as wide as the header and footer, looks weird.

The bb code showing up in the signatures may be intended. The upgrade gives more control on what is allowed in signatures. I've set the limits at 3 lines, 500 characters, and only basic BB code.

The column widths thing is definitely not cool.

Keep the questions/bug reports coming. I'll make this the master thread for that.

    Thanks,
    rob

Clicking on the "go to last post" button (for a thread) on the home page gives you:

"No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

When I go back into a message to edit it, I can click on SAVE and it takes the change, but the edit screen doesn't go away.

First I thought it didn't take it, but it is now consistent, happens to me every time (at least on this machine, have to check it out on another box later on today). The workaround is to simply go to another page/forum within FChat.

Signature picture doesn't work. I can upload it, shows it in my edit page, but doesn't show when I post.

    Click the last post arrow.

you get "no thread specified" as the response.

NEVERMIND... now it seems to be working.

Maybe just on threads started with the old software.

Has anyone else here had trouble logging out?

I clicked User Controls, then Log Out, then OK, and then the screen goes grey and nothing happens...

I'm also seeing the Red X/View Post thing.

So I'm confused....is the intention of the new BB code settings to limit what people can do with signatures, and specifically, is removing URL linking intentional? I would think that even "basic" code would allow things like bold and url links. Maybe not.

There's a basic and regular bb code setting, I just enabled basic and wasn't sure yet what that all means, but we're finding out. :)
