F-Chat Top Ten Super Cars of all time list

This was kinda hard for me to balance my personal favorites with what I considered to be historically great or significant. To make things simpler, I'm gonna limit this to the past 25 years or so:

1. Bugatti Veyron - the largest leap in automotive performance since WW2. Nuff said.

2. Ferrari Enzo - I picked this for a combination of reasons - the all-around performance, the sound, the fact that it represents the pinnacle thus far of what I consider to be the greatest maker of performance cars in the world, the sheer otherworldiness of the styling (I've seen a huge variety of supercars and none of them struck me like the Enzo), and the sort of aura around it.

3. McLaren F1 - Unmatched in production car performance for 10 years and a towering automotive achievement

4. Porsche Carrera GT - Technological marvel, pure racer for the road, and awe-inspiring overall brilliance

5. Ferrari F40 - I prefer the F50 as a car but the F40 was the first 200+ mph supercar and will always be a legend

6. Ferrari F50 - The car that got me into sportscars; awesome beauty, hair-raising sound, daring technological concept, pure Ferrari

7. Lamborghini Murcielago - Lamborghinis have defined the wall-poster, outrageous supercar genre along with Ferrari, but the Murcie is the first Lambo to fully live up to it's promise, delivering a univesally raved-about drive and spectacular performance to match the styling

8. Ferrari 599 GTB - This may do some considerable list-climbing as the years go on IMO. So fast, so beautiful, and so darned good that it makes it's mid-engine compatriots seem almost (if not quite) frivolous

9. Koenigsegg CC/CCR/CCX - That a tiny Swedish shop could build what was briefly the fastest car on the planet is a tremendous achievement. Car has its flaws but the record speaks for itself

10. Porsche 959 - When it came out, it was so ridiculously superior to it's competitors of the day (countach, TR, etc) that established a new playing field, one that the F40, McLaren, etc would continue to define.

I hate black cars
as they "HIDE" it's lines,curves and design IMO.

Why would you place a lambo over the Veyron or a Ferrari? And not even the LP640 at that...for shame lol

 

Everyone has there own taste. You may not agree with him in his list of cars, but it doesnt make his list wrong

i put the lambo first beacuse its my ultimate dream car! plain and simple and that should be reason enough, the thread didnt say that i had to justify my choices so for shame on you!!!
