Can anyone advise me how the chrome headlight ring mounts on a 330 GTC?

    Thanks, Graham

It just pops on or off. There are three spring loaded clips that hold it on. If it's been a while since it was last off, I would use a wide putty knife. Insert it between the rubber seal and the chrome trim ring. A slight prying action should pop one clip loose. The just pull with your fingers for the other two. Keep one hand at the bottom so the ring doesn't pop off and hit the paint under the headlight.

There is a small hole in the trim ring, approximately 3 MM diameter, usually located at the bottom.

Fashion a tool from coat-hanger wire. Make a small "L" shaped hook on one end and a 3" diamater ring on the other.
Hook your fingers in the ring, insert the hook in the hole and pull gently - it will come right off.

Great idea, I have never thought of using the drain hole to help remove it. If it has been off recently, I can just pull it off using my fingers.

Thanks for the advice. I have the chrome rings off and can see the springs but they don't match up the the trim. Must be the wrong trim rings. Any thoughts on where to find two new ones?

Do they say Carello on them near the hole?
