My personal opinion is this car disgraces not one, but two respectable marques.

While I've always thought the C5 Corvette design recalled both past Ferrari and Corvette design in a very beautiful package, the "ricer" C6 design (from the guy who designed the ASSTEK) has been an embarassment.

No, the car is no better than the Fiero knockoffs and has no place outside a crusher.

One part of me says "to each his own." The other part says "what the heck is wrong with these yahoos who destroy cars."

On My Classic Car they showed a 1941 Packard Darrin that had been destroyed with 20" modern wires, a Jaguar interior and a Viper engine. We're talking about a car that was a dream car in its day...is still a dream car with collectors, and is extremely rare (ballpark around 40 cars.)

When guys do this they not only significantly lower the value of their cars, they also make it really hard for someone to put the car right later.

In my garage the Corvette parts and paint stays on the Corvette, and the Ferrari parts/paint on the Ferrari. (But what about putting the 328 engine into the TR3???? ;) )

Ha ha ha... Good one, Big Al...

Yeah this "Vettrari" idiot is making the rounds... From yet another Fchat thread. Only here in NYC, we're not so charitable. Most of us think this guy should get his a$$ kicked for being such an idiot. (Not that I actually advocate violence :D)

Personally I prefer the VettaRossa, a testarossa side vent kit for 80s Vettes, gives them that extra styling touch then add a few F shields.

I think he missed a few spots he could still put more F stickers on, after all each sticker adds 2 hp.

It's such a shame what this guy did. He obviously could have bought an actual Ferrari in place of the vette but ended up insulting both Ferraris and Corvettes.:(

No car enthusiasts here...? The guy obviously likes Ferraris - what's wrong with that...? He wears his heart on his sleeve... Haven't we all done that at one point or another...?

That car screams "uber loser" to me. It is a disgrace for two respectable marques as was pointed out above. Jeebus, I wouldn't even buy a Ferrari shirt until I had actually bought a car first...

yes......but up to the point you're trying to deceive by camouflaging your car to pass it off as a Ferrari.

Everytime I see that car I think of Top Gun

"Mig 28's" when in realitly is they are Northrop F-5's

That's worrst than putting lambo doors on your honda. Id rather build a replicar than try to rebadge a Corvette or Lotus esprit. atleast that way even if its just a fiero to the naked eye its a ferrari.

Reminds me of a Porsche 911 I saw a couple weeks ago that had SF badges on the side.

My smart a-word side can easily say, that is just lame agreeing with the stabs posted above.

On the other hand, I think I see what it is he is trying to do where others are quickly soured by the badges on what clearly is a GM product. It's a stretch, but I think this guy is giving credit where credit it due. After all, it was Ferrari that gave Chevrolet the inspiration of the Corvette with the release of the ULTRA RARE GTO64 Series II. Without that body design, the 1968 Corvette would have nothing to go on, or at least it wouldn't be what it is today with that signature shape and rear lights. The new C6 headlight design was clearly taken from the Modena. Corvette is the American sports car, but it's design inspiration is all Ferrari.
