Wanted to know about the Novitec 360. Is the motor from Novitec a modified 360 motor or is it something completely different?

Novitec has a Bi Compressor Conversion kit. Its a twin supercharger system with an independent oil system , modified and insulated air induction system; water cooled intercoolers with water pumps and additional radiator, re-inforced drive belts with dynamic tensioners; additional fuel injectors; reprogrammed Motronics and 2 Novitec Tectronic units; carbon air filter housing, high flow cats and exhaust manifolds.... All this leads to 560hp, 415 ft-lbs of torque and a 3.8sec 0-60mph

I saw it on the CEC website

Are you guys familiar with the compressors Novitech uses? They are Rotrex. Known from other tuning communities to be substrandard. Poor adiabatic efficiencies and used generally for low cost applications or for tight packaging.

They are also centrifugal blower units; the type that not a single OEM puts on their cars from the factory. To my knowledge all supercharged cars from the factory are positive displacement units (not centrifugal), generally of the twin screw variety like that on the Ford GT.

    Anyway, caveat emptor.
