I've got a repaired passenger side window motor and cable housing ready to go back in a '82 308 but I cannot remember the proper cable orientation through the pulleys. Does anyone have a photo that they'd care to share?

One post actually states the 3 key steps in the procedure.
#1. Draw a picture of the cable routing...

    Good Luck

attached is part manual for '80. Should be the same. Don't overtighten the cable. It should have a little bit of slack to prevent binding the motor.

CERTAIN folks have them and are glad to share...

Actually someone emailed me the .pdf file and my last employer is low on ink cartridges and paper, for some reason...it took about a day and a half to print!

'faster is better' has ordered one from BigTex Publishing.....

There's another thick stack of Tech Bulletins 1976-1981, makes for great reading as well........if you dont have any scantily clad distractions around....LOL!

Back to TAV 107, I know it like the back of my hand...note the countersunk hexhead screw at the rear of the window frame is not depicted....no matter it's NLA! As is the stepped barrel nut that receives it......so do not lose that!

    It rattles out if loose....

If you vist Ferrari UK Classic Parts those diagrams are also viewable with price list and availability...

You have to download Isoview, IIRC.

I'll get it on the scanner one of these days soon...

forgot to mention when I posted tav107...from ric rainbolts original post, and unlike how it's drawn on the diagram...

if you can confirm that, I'll modify tav 107 before scanning the thing. tav107 doesn't show very well how the window attaches to the cable, so if you tooks some pics, please post them. If you have higher res than fchat allows, please upload them using the upload link on http://ferrari.cdyn.com/ (the 1978 parts manual is already there)

It has a tip on a tool I made to hold the windings in place while putting this mechanical nightmare back together - and a diagram for the cables

This link has the manuals for 308's, Mondial, and 328's. I got the parts manual -good quality scans. Save you buble jet ink (it is 150 pages) and take the file to Staples and have them print it for $11.00 - and in ten minutes....while you are there you can pick up a binder and the plastic pages :)

FYI, the drawing is a little unclear which is over which is under. When I did mine the window went up to about 4 inches from the top and I heard "crunch, crunch" I thought I had assembled the motor wrongly. After taking the thing apart numerous times I discovered I just had the cable over in a spot where it should have been under.

(boy did I get good at it... I could get the motor out rewind that cable and re-install the motor in ten minutes. First time was like 5 hours)

Here is a drawing for a my '79 (not sure if it changes by '82). The green wedge tool on the drawing refers to a paice of wood I used to hold the windings in place around the drum while installing the motor. The link my post above has a pic of the tool also...
