The Bentley Continental GT doesn't have much of a backseat either. Something about British coupes and lack of legroom... 612 all the way.
Another drawback for DB9 is the resale. Mine ('06 Volante with 1.8k miles, loaded with all options)finally sold last week at wholesale $145k out of state. In Midwest, maximum it could bring, was low $120k.
Great looking car!!!, And that is a real back seat That would be awesome growing up and then realisizing that you have a Ferrari!!!
Phil - thanks muchly for the thoughts on dealer fear, when I bought the 456 I had a 928GTS to part-ex and had serious issues with dealer attitude and that was for a £55k car, let alone a £140k one. My problem is that I look so young... Beautiful colour combo on your car, you see some real horror stories on 612s, even bi-colours but yours is sublime. The interior of the 612 is Ferrari's best ever I think, and the boot looks considerably bigger than a DB9s. Who did you trust to do your stereo upgrade by the way and do you mind my asking the cost?
Wentworth, who do lots of Ferrari's: http://www.wentworthcr.co.uk/ Actually I'm looking at having that Alpine replaced with the new Pioneer: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114716
I also think the DB9 looks quite a bit better than the 612. Having said that, however, I have never seen a 612 in person, so I probably can't make an accurate comparison about the looks.
