A level-headed approach, coupled with a TOTAL understanding of the sport (from downforce to dollars) and a ferocious determination to succeed would make Micheal Schumacher an EXCELLENT choice.
I would expect an autocratic leadership style as well respect from all quarters which would be help even more.

Could someone clarify for me.....is Ferrari about passion?
    No.... I keeeeed, I keeeeed.

I think it is more likely that MS would try his hand as a race Technical Director in place of Ross Brawn who may be on a 1 year sabatical rather than trying to replace the Team Manager Todt. MS has been with Ross at Benetton and Ferrari, so their strategic race thinking should be very similar. I think MS could fill that roll for the year, keeping his hand in F1 while he decides what he is going to do in the future. He would not be the first driver to un-retire if he chose to go back to racing after a stint as a race Technical Director. Rory Byrne is retiring, but staying as a consultant to guide Costa. Perhaps Brawn will do the same from a distance with MS.
