After a tragic week like this, these words from a mate back in Sydney brought a smile to my face.

"There'll be no masturbation in my household this weekend. Too many Aussies have died this week doing what they love!"

ran it in targa tas this year , quick car with plenty of HP . would need to question the car safety wise compared to a porsche

As expected, they're saying the car hit a tree.

I'm guessing it was a side impact into Brock's side of the car.

Not to be confused with a real car, its a Shelby Cobra-Daytona replica. Plastic body, Commodore donk, home made chassis.

Will be interesting to find out the cause. Brocky has had some big offs driving Monaros in Targa Tas in recent years.

    What a bloody shame.

know the dumb thing... did a search for peter brock interviews... nothing about motorsport comes up in the results, it's all to do with animal liberation and stuff.

watch out for dumb conspiracy theories....

Seriously sad week for Australia. The loss of two great legends is almost unfair.

    RIP Peter.

Yes, Pete Brock designed the original Daytona Coupe. I was just reading about Peter Brock and the replica last night. :(

yes the car had lots of development in the hands of pete. superformance was so proud to have him on board and gave him a car for his efforts.

sad , sad loss...he was an icon and a legend.
