    the very first pic in this page with 2 Maranellos

    clearly shows why I hate black cars

    as black hides it's artistic lines compared with a light colour such as Silver

    Actually, isn't the black car in that shot (in front of the Cafe de Paris, non?) a Superamerica? I've seen a black one before and really liked it, but I do see your point . . .

    Yes It's Cafe de Paris, Casino Place.

    Monaco is the first place in the world where one can see the most beautiful cars in the world. I work to the Casino since 1990 and I am in Monaco since 1975, the most beautiful cars in the world came here except Vector ! ;(

    I lost count of how many I saw at the Cavallino Classic this past January!

    I was disappointed not to see a Veyron though, when I was in MC in May (for the GP) and again in July. I always see a large number of amazing cars during the week of the race- Bugatti EB 110s, McLaren F1s, etc., etc.

    I consider myself lucky to be able to visit once each year (thanks to my annual Grand Prix-week hotel room at the Alexandra)! My second trip this year was an exception, and I was sure I'd see a Veyron on at least one of my visits. Maybe next time . . .

    Did anyone notice the 'official' cars that were doing parade laps before and after the Monaco GP in May? They were driving around both a coupe and convertible version.

    I am not sure of the manufacturer, but I suspect that it was a boutique local manufacturer.

    Vector, nice pics. The Fairmont recently was bought by the Saudi investor (can't remember his name, but is one of the wealthiest men in the world), and I guess they are planning to overhaul it. If his other hotel properties are any indicaton of the level of excellent and beauty, it should be an incredible property.

    When will the artifical land start construction and end? Any plans yet for what it will be for?
