Back in 1998 Cauley Ferrari in Michigan delivered a brand new silver 355 (berlinetta?). The interior color was a unique brown shade. The owner (who worked for a prototype company in the auto industry) said it was a special order and the name of the interior color was 'baseball glove'. It looked very sharp. Sorry no pictures. Has anybody ever seen that color combination? Thanks

Car magazine did an interview with Sergio Pinninfarina (Sept 96) where he said he thought sliver is the best colour. I agree - it's very good for showing off the shape because of the way it gives very subtle gradations of grey depending on the shape of the body and the light. So, early last year, when I was finally able to afford a 355, I went looking for a silver one...

As Griffith 500 said above, it's a very rare colour on the 355 - strange because you see a lot of silver 550s and 360s. In fact apart from ones I've driven, I've never seen a silver 355 on the road. I would guess there are probably less than 20 silver 355 Spiders in the UK.

These are pictures of my car just before I bought it:

This car actually looks like Grigio Titanio, but it's certainly a great colour and even rarer than silver. I think it tends to look best in strong sunlight or in artificial light - in other light it can look a bit drab. So it's a good choice if you live in California!
