The yoshi ones are nice, I just do not like the thickness of them.

Yoshi ones and the metal type i have, are a dammed sight thinner than the factory fitted ones on the 575;) In fact i had to look twice at these badges becourse the reccess was so shallow.
Early ferraris had there badges sitting flush but latter ferrari have them sitting well proud.

No problem, to each their own...I think the resin ones look "wrong" as you get up close...plastic sheilds doesn't look all that hot on a Ferrari to me....

as you said, to each their own.
This is what makes the world great! everybody is different.
If everybody liked the same things, what a boring life it would be :)

Yeah well, you might say it's a one-off. Ferrari only made one of these gems. Make me an offer. :)

They're not recessed on the 348 GTC.

Interesting to see hte Yoshi (?) enamel badges, the horse is quite different, the Yoshi horse has non filled highlights.

No? What brand are they then?

By filled I mean if you look at the highlights inside the horse, your ones and others have outlines on the highlights whereas mine are solid. Just interesting in an anorak kind of way. lol

You know mate its been nearly 3 years since i bought mine. I bought them when after market wing sheilds started to hit the streets. I cant remember the company but a dude called Nick from SoCal sold them to me. He made them and he is also in the Porsche tuning game. He shipoed them to me out here in the UK. And when i spoke to him over the phoe he seemed realy cool.
They are a great quality and have stood the test of time well. Yoshis are also a great wing badge and also of great quality like mine. Though i do know of two people who have bought Yoshis over the last few months and have had to re-shape there badges to make them fit. Yoshis are also a little thinner than mine. But at 4mm min are still thin;) Although looking at my other picture of the 575 wing badge on page two, mine sit lower than that of the factory fitted badges of late cars;)

I don't know why people just don't stick with the yoshi shields they are the same print as the ferrari factory shields just alot cheaper in cost that is. And well thought out to make them thin so you would not have to get fenders done. I researched all the shields and even after I bought the yoshi I place them up to the real ferrari factory shields and they are exact. not to knock off any other brand but these shields are well done. Just my in put not trying to start trouble.

They can't be the same print, look at mine in the photo vs. the 2nd photo Chaa posted. Very definitely different.

Clearly you have ot researched enough have you. There not that exact are they? Look at the two pictures bellow .....again. The blue car is a factory fitted wing badge that sticks out a good 6-7 mm if not more. Take the look at a CSs wing badges as well there the same and its quite hard to see the wing recces as well. Also take a look at the way the brand new Yoshi badges dont fit the wing straight from the box, and they were worse than that befor they were reshaped. Not knocking the Yoshi at all, just saying it like it is. There are other options as good...fact.
