I just bought a 2001 360 F1. I am having trouble accelerating from a stopped position without burning my clutch. Is there a trick to this? Thanks. Jordan
Hi Jordan. Fill out your profile when you get the chance. It's important not to "back off" the throttle; stay with the input you've selected, otherwise the computer gets confused with what your intentions are. I find that what works best is to squeeze on the throttle, and when you feel the clutch has started to let-out, increase the input linearly -- imagine if you were driving a six-speed, and kinda work with the computer to lay down the power. You can just dump the throttle, but this allows a lot of clutch slip while it modulates full-power, and you'll probably find you'll go through a lot of tires (and clutches) this way ... plus, it doesn't get you going any faster than if you carefully work the throttle... Well, that's my experience with the Stradale anyway...
