I suppose in 5 years we'll be seeing Christmnas decorations and commercials in July? It's freakin' September! What the hell is going on?

I mentioned this early Christmas stuff to a friend of mine the other day, she told me she always finishes her Christmas shopping before November. I always wait until Christmas Eve.

I think with this thread title, Santa's going to put coal in your christmas stocking. :)

I went stupid, and brought some computerized lighting equipment from Lightorama.com. Probably a waste of money. I'm probably not going to sync with music this year, but I wanted the ability to control the lights. I'm thinking it would look cool if all the house exterior lights switch colors from all white, to red, to green. I'm also building an 8-ft diameter peace sign with green lights, that will fade to a red heart, then fade to a red circle with the NO slash, then an "L" letter. Peace, love, noel. Just what this world needs now.

My problem? I've got it mostly built, but now I need lights, and the stores around here have not put out the types I need! Darn, probably the only one here waiting and visiting stores to check their stock!!!! :)

My girlfriend thinks its a sickness. Probably true.

Nothing like waking up Christmas morning, reaching into your big red sock and grabbing hold of a hard bit of carbon... :)

thought that early stuff was just this side of the pond, apparently gross commercialization knows no boundaries....
