So I finally got my 348 . . .

    After about 6 months of research and viewing vehicles, I finally decided to take the plunge into the 348 Brotherhood! I saw this vehicle back years ago while out in San Francisco and thought to myself, this is really one beautiful car!

    Well, I somehow managed to find my way to Ferrarichat and to learn all I can about the 348. When the opportunity finally presented itself, I held my breath and took the plunge. Thanks to everyone on this board who gave me sound advice and to Dave Helms for having serviced/restored, as well as, providing his expert guidance in making this purchase a smooth and unforgettable journey into the word of Ferrari’s. Dave Helms is really a top notch mechanic, as well as, a great person.

    Without FerrariChat and the help/knowledge of the 348 Brotherhood, I would not have purchased this vehicle as I would have been too scared to touch it!

    Enough of my rantings and here are the pictures! As a warning, this car I purchased was a 1993 348 TB SS. Less than 6000 miles. Vehicle was located in Denver, CO. Everything about this car was all stock when I purchased it. Then I let loose my imagination and convinced Dave Helms to make it all happen. We went as far as to custom make a 355 Rear Tail lights, but it got held up at the body shop and we decided to pull the plug on that project, at least for now.

    Congratulations. Welcome to the 348 Brotherhood!

    I am curious to know the production date, which as you might know is located on a metal plate on the driver door sill toward the front of the car (viewed with door open).

    I hope you will choose to keep the car, the greatest extent possible, in its original factory condition. Enjoy your rare machine!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! An absolutely gorgeous car!! I can relate directly to your purchase because I just received mine a week ago!! It is the same as yours but a 92' (same seats). I am the one VTC4198 mentioned above.
