The cost that I am giving all the FChat members is wholesale pricing/group buy pricing. I can try and work with the pricing some (I'll have to check with the boss) but I can't guarantee anything on that.

if it helps i have had Kumos on 2 308s and one Lamborghini with 14s and they are excellent tires for the money. i DO NOT track my cars and there is nowhere to run over 100 mph + around here with getting buried UNDER THE JAIL. for surface streets they are GREAT tires. i have a set of 16 inch Kumos on my 911 also ( brand new) and they are great as far as i can push the car.

    ? Kuhmo ? .... you get the idea... :)

Just about anything out there beats the original Michelins that came with the car.

I went with Pirelli P4000 - although designated H rating, Pirelli rated them as also V rated.

What a difference. Feel very lively, almost like driving a go-cart. Actually get "rubber" noise shifting from 1st to 2nd.

    Would go with P4000 again.

I put Michelin 225-60-14s on 7 1/2" rims, front and rear on my GT4. Looks great (period) and work pretty well (obviously not as well as a low profile 16" tire). Rolled my front fender lips a bit. Unfortunately Michelin have gone out of production on these.

Yea, my Goodyear advisor check dimensions as I picked up some 16" Eagle F1 GSD3s and waved me off of the 14" 195/60s as well...too short in height.

    Steelworkers just walked out..

I'll report back what management can do for us!

If they'll do the Showroom Stock Rain tire in 205/70 14 it'll be Z rated!

I may have to order 1,000 units though....:D

In Europe you can buy Fulda "Carat" 205/70-14 in the proper V rating. Good performance /price ratio, used in Germany on BMW/Mercedes fast coupes of the 70-80 ies.

Tiresbyweb.com has them for $214.00 each. Does anyone have experience with Vredestein tires? Are they any good?

Try Tirerack . I have the Firestone's on . If youant a equal size tire then you need to go to the Goodrich 245-60-14 . The 235's only have around a 1% speedo error.
