I've seen a few different yellow colors out for the Gallardo, which one does everyone think looks the best since I'm fairly new to the Gallardo's, looking to sell my 360 and jump over to a Gallardo. Thanks for any suggestions, I'm looking at the 04 models.

There are only two different yellows in the G - the flat Giallo Halys and the pearl Giallo Midas. I've owned both - an 04 Halys and an 06 Midas (SE version) so I'm reasonably well qualified to answer the question. The pearl is the more interesting and nicer colour IMO. OTOH, the flat yellow is easier to touch up if get any stone chips. There seem to be a lot more pearl around than the solid yellow, so that will probably end up determining it for you.

Does the 04 come in pearl yellow or is it just flat?

Hope you make it to this side. We should form an association for ex 360 owners who went G and in some cases kicked the 430 plans off too !! I am on my second G after 8 Fcars including a 360. I am happy with the switch.

I'm just tired of the 360 and want to switch from e-gear to the 6 speed Gallardo, drove one yesterday and and the performance and sound blew me away. I love my 360 but the G is more pratical for driving more miles per year for a whole lot less money. I got to get use to the way they sit so low, It was difficult for me getting use to driving the car the first few miles by sitting so low and trying to get the seat perfected to my comfort, but it was a great car to test drive.

I hear you; I'm with you on all points. loved my 360F1 (except for the Sport seats)and still think it was a great car. Did much more to me the first time I drove it than the 430 did. For street/track I still think it's hard to beats a CS. But I wanted a 6sp and my first (04) G was manual. I got tired of shifting and have just gone to a (much improved) (06) Egear. Eventually, you will like the driving position of the G.

No issues...I track and log every single Lamborghini in the country..The thing that you need to look for is wreather or the dealer has the car....I called Dupont today, spoke about the issue of leaving cars up that have been sold in most cases for months...dealer like to leave the ads up to gain more calls...Customer will watch for a while before calling and think they will get a deal once the car has aged abit..but the fact is most the time car has been sold for long time, but now the dealer has chance to find the car for the customer...In some cases there may only be a few in a certain color like Rosso Vic dealer will say I can get it..but in reality Lambo only built a few...I can go on and on..but i can tell for sure that on Dupont...if they took down all the sold Murcies and Gallardo's there would be less 15 cars on there...

Have a GREAT 2005 6 speed, FLY YELLOW, Black Interior with Yellow Stitching, with lifting system,Tubi, 3-M clear bra on the way in!!

The FLY YELLOW is far rarer and IMO a LOT brighter looking.

Should be priced at about $155K.......

BTW Premier, the 3-layer Giallo Midas (and the 3-layer metallic orange) paint was a $2990 option over the non-metallic yellow. Metallaic colors were $1380 over the standard non-metallic colors.

I drive by their lot twice a day; they're a couple of miles down the road from my house. They seem to have at least 3 G's this week.

    '04s were available in both.

The Pearl Yellow is outstanding in sunlight. The car just glows. I love mine.

Giallo Halys (fly "flat" yellow) is the best on the Gallardo, IMHO. "Pearl" (Metallic) colors don't belong on a high performance sports car. Flame on.
