Ok guys, I have 355 wheels that as I look more closely at seems to have spacers. So I thought I'd post a picture and see what you think. I've never looked this close at another before so I'm not sure. But it looks like a rubber spacer then another metal spacer to me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
have you ever seen spacers like this? With rubber? The metal spacer is about 17mm The rubber spacer is about 15mm
That looks narrower than you list. The 15mm aluminum I have looks like what you have there, and I would guess the 'rubber' is maybe 10mm thick. I did not think the 355 wheels needed spacers to have the full wheel well look. BT
I used a Dietzgen drafting tool.... so I'm pretty sure I'm w/in 1mm. I've never seen a rubber spacer, but it feels like rubber.
The rubber is a band that goes around the edge of the face that mates with the brake disc. I presume its for protection. It is not a spacer and does not come between any contact faces. Jools
Well by the looks of it then it's attached to the wheel as it's on the other side of the spacer. Do all 355's have this?
Yes, my 355 has the "rubber" at the hubs. It may be a dissimilar metal barrier to prevent corrosion of the magnesium wheels.
Does anyone know if the Brembo GT bake kit changes the offset? I don't want to buy spacers then find out I don't need them after the GT kit.
Well, for one, with the pict I took and the Fchat faithful.... I have my answer. Secondly, with no experience in Ferrari wheels, I wasn't sure what was stock. ----- More to follow, soon -----
