Ever see the inside of a BMW motor that hasn't had an oil change in 4 years and 88,000 kms on the clock? Not nice.
I know a guy who had a mid-80's Nissan pickup with over 80,000 miles on the clock and original oil in the engine. I have no idea WHY, but he never once changed the oil in that truck. I guess once you reach a certain point, changing the oil could cause more harm than good?
I once let my goldfish bowl go for about 2 months and although they were perfectly happy, my mom guilted my into changing it. They died within hours.
