I know of ONE MORE red/black Boxer trim/black 1977...I almost added it to the barn! I hope no mice as well! There's a cat sleeping on the jet skis....she had BETTER be doing her job! *kicking the cat* Carbed 308GTBs will pass the injected cars in value, 'glass cars already have! Later model 328s will stay up though, due to ABS and the "last year" factor..... *rubbing crystal ball*
I'm pleading for Lady Valeria to bring it home, once hurricane season is over! We do not have as much covered parking as my brother, who's a banker! Maybe I should buy some of those bubbles and scatter them around the yard!
The only thing I know for sure is that the value of mine will continue to drop as it heads towards 200,000 miles in 2016. I suppose I could wait until it has 104,000, redye the interior, repaint it and 'lose' the service records. How much for a clean 4000 mile car?
Big Tex what shade of blue is your 77. Mine is Chiaro I think. Funnily enough I may be moving over to Europe for a bit and was thinking of taking the car with me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw a red 308 with black boxer trim in South FL a couple of months ago. It was in the back lot of either Shelton's, The Collection or The New Auto Toy Store, I can't remember which or what year it was.
That's a beautiful color JT! The Factory confirmed the code for me but Alex Leventhal and I have discussed it.....it's simply Azzuro Metallica AFAIK, a Dino shade still in use in 1977... Suprisingly, there are LOTS of blues....seems to help with Law Enforcement.. My blue one is a lower miles 2 owner car, where the yellow one has a more public life as an Art Car and the Houston commute is kinda like a part in Days of Thunder! I don't have much rust..I replace the whole panel! LOL!
Don't forget Mondials! -Not mine: 1982 Ferrari Mondial 8 - $35900 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to: [email protected] Date: 2006-09-12, 8:56AM MDT 14,000 original miles All maintenance current within last 1,000 and done by Ferrari of Denver Red/Tan color excellent condition payment will be accepted through PayPal
Did all 77 steel cars have that boxer paint theme, or was it "hit and miss"? JT, that is a very pretty color, very nice looking car. Looks like 16" wheels??
It was hit or miss, mine came in a single colour. Thanks for the compliments, yes they are 16"s, am about to get rid of the old 14's which have been sitting way to long in our garage......................
