Hi, I had this dilemma last year, my research showed that only the "front" wheels from a 355 would fit a Mondial QV due to the width; - QV in Ascot (Mike or Phil) do sell replica 355 wheels that look great but I decided to fit a set of genuine Mondial T wheels that bolt straight on. Cheers, Mario.
Sadly Steve its too late now I missed them, I was at Snetterton today with Andy308gtb, and as no-one had confirmed in the Q&A thread that they would fit I gave it a miss, I think they finished mid afternoon, I've only been in the door 20 mins. so hence on the hunt for 355 alloys
I did check these wheels out through a different supplier, apparently they are quite a bit heavier than normal 355 rims
I would agree with you there but those split rims would have looked really good, especially with the gold centres on a red car.
Pete, there is a guy on CS selling a set of those wheels,they were fitted to his GT4, might be worth a look. Not so sure how the 355 wheels would look, would have to see a pic of a Mondial with them fitted.
