Brazilian GP 2006 - Interlagos, Sao Paulo, 22nd October 2006. Alonso and Massa crash out in the 1st corner incident and both retire from the race. Raikonnen is leading the race, followed by Michael Schumacher in the 2nd place. Fisichella is in the 9th place and out of points. If the race finishes as it is, Ferrari loses both titles. For sure, I wouldn't like to be in Kimi's position!
In order to get MS retire with a 8th WDC, Renault, Toyota, William, McLaren, Spyker, Honda, Super Aguri, Red Bull and STR all conspire against Alonso together, simply because he is such "little kid", according to Briatore. They all started to throw their cars at Alonso at every chance they get to try and take him out of the race. Not in the most obvious fashion but within the FIA rules. In the end, Bernie Eccelstone and Max Mosley got into their M-B pace car and took Alonso out themselve after the 2nd pitstop. As a result, Michael Schumacher wins the race and the WDC, but Renault beats Ferrari for the WCC as Massa still was unable to get pass Nick Heidfield to be a factor in the title fight. PS: Alonso was so disappointed with the Sport, he retires and joins the circus. Ron Dennis/McLaren now without a #1 driver for next year, was able to coax J. Villeneuve to come back. Which makes JV happy as he didn't have to compete or prove his speed against anyone as he was the '97 WC.
If only this could happen. Heres what i see happening; Schumacher qualifies on the pole and if Alonzo qualifies anywhere below 6th he will take the penalty to swap in a new engine and start at the back of the pack. Through out the race the drivers of other teams discreately support Schumie (in honor of the great mans history) and work against Alonso, not to the extent of taking out Alonso but harming his position. Alonso finishes in 9th and Schumie wins taking the WDC and ferrari takes second in the manufacturer because Massa wont finish above 5th.
Don't forget about GF - he can take out MS if FM takes out FA. Couple more alternative endings: FA is out of the race and KR passes MS for the lead on last lap. FA is out of the race and when MS passes back markers Sato takes him out. During FA's pit stop Ferrari mechanic destroys his car with sledge hammer.
yeah i wouldnt say go about trying to crash Alonso but since blocking is still legal, they sure can do that although i still dont think FIA likes that to be done, who knows what those stuck up FIA ppl are thinking about now... as for KR, McLaren is so unreliable and unpredictable nowadays, they might have another engine failure in brazil hhahaha im already thinking about the next season when KR joins Ferrari and Alonso goes further to blame McLaren Mercedes lol
OK, all you delusional obsessives, here's a reality slap for you: It is over. Schumacher had a great run to tie Alonso with two races to go but he fell short in Japan and the title is a foregone conclusion in Brazil. Alonso is going to win it and all of you ostriches are going to have to pull your head out of the sand eventually. You can dream all you want but all you are doing is deluding yourselves. It is done, it is over, finite.
OK thank you! Now back to Brazil, if it is a hot day, maybe the Bridgestone drivers can be in front and prevent Renault from getting points. A previous poster wrote that it was divine intervention because FA blew an engine also. To continue along that throught pattern, I do not remember Sato taking FA out of a race, but I do remember Sato taking MS out. So maybe we can count on Bridgestones and Sato
Ok, I totally disregarded the realiability of McLaren, so let's be more realistic. What about this? Brazilian GP 2006 - Interlagos, Sao Paulo, 22nd October 2006. Alonso and Massa crash out in the 1st corner incident and both retire from the race. Ralf Schumacher is leading the race, followed by Michael Schumacher in the 2nd place. Fisichella is in the 9th place and out of points. If the race finishes as it is, Ferrari loses both titles. For sure, I wouldn't like to be in Ralf's position! Good bye, Christmas presents.
Perhaps the new right rear wheel man for Renault will want to continue the tradition of Alonso's amazing pit stops and will forget to put the tire on altogether when he tries to roll out of the pits on the last stop effectively handing Micahel (who will be riding in second) the win.
How about this one - MS and FM is #1 and #2, FA and GF crash in first corner. Race is stoped becuase the only medical chopper have to take Flav to hospital with heart attack. Both championships given away to Ferrari based on position before race stop.
Never say never. It is not over till the finish line at Interlagos! Ferrari 1 - 2! The rest is up to FA, GF and Renault!
Well said. Everything is a foregone conclusion in F1, until your left cylinder bank goes Kablammo! This happened to Fred one or two times this year and it happened to Michael in Suzuka. Nothing in F1 is to be taken for granted. Nothing. Looking on the bright side, at least Michael will have a fresh engine for the last race and it will be required to last only one duty cycle. And, Ferrari do know how to make a b1tch'n lump. Considering that the odds are against Ferrari and Michael to win, I bet Maranello pull out absolutely all the stops. Before the beginning of the 2006 season, there were rumors that Ferrari had a lump that would wind to 22,000 RPM but it would not last 2 race weekends. If that is true, now is the time to use it.
I think I'll fly down to Brazil, find some bamboo, sharpen it at both ends, and take my best shot and those blue and yellow cars! Alonso will end up blaming Renault for the spear that will slice right through is right rear tire, which wasn't put on right anyway. All this time, Alonso will be spinning out and crash into Fisi, who couldn't avoid the flying spear nor the R26. By then, Flavio is crying on Par Symonds shoulder and Jean Todt and Ross Brawn are sipping some bubbly. Ron Dennis finally realizes that Alonso is just going to be dreadfully annoying at McLaren and puts himself out of misery by stabbing himself with the spear I made. Ferrari then finishes 1-2 and captures both titles. Yep, that's what's gonna happen! I just need tickets! -John
LoL. if u can gurantee that'll happen, i won;t mind buying u those tix. edit : i'm having so much fun reading all the funny things that might happen in the next race, yet there's still an idiot somewhere here, taking things seriously for no reason. i guess that person can't differenciate between fun, and between Michael's ' fault ' at suzuka or the engine's ' fault ' at suzuka.
