Don't ask me how but I made it for some reason with the old, blue Miata :)

Soon to follow the announcement of the 2006 NASA Florida Champion in ES class. :)

    To clarify this:

this came completely out of left field. I was neither expecting it now even thinking about it. Neither do I deserve it really :) I won one race in Feb, then came in 2nd in March. Apparently nobody else was racing in that class and that was enough to clinch the Championship.

NASA next week will be more deserving. :)

Martin...my friends and I will be down October 19-23. Staying in Ft. Lauderdale, playing golf, going to the Dolphins game. Party sounds great! Of course there have to be good looking women present ,,, so I'm sure you have connections at some Ft. Lauderdale/Miami hotspots...any ideas? It would be great if I could show my buds a good time in S.FL.

How about this...you don't tell anyone I'm a cop and I won't tell anyone you're a used car salesman...otherwise it will just be you and me at the party :)

What Martin fails to tell you.

SARRC = Senior Age (group) Road Racing Class (most in SCCA call it the senile age (group). The drivers suits have extra room for the "depends" under garment. It's the only class with allotted bathroom breaks during the 30 minute endurance races

SSB = in SCCA drivers circles it is know this to stand for the 3 speeds that the Senior age group travels at: STOP, SLOW and BACKWARDS and at all times there left turn signal light must be activated.

Check the return address. It's probably a Nigerian scam! Did you wire the $15,000 they requested for the gold and diamond encrusted trophy?

    Congrats Martin!

And it's not like it's completely undeserved...you did show up twice and got a podium finish both times...that has to count for something.

I'm hoping to follow in your footsteps soon!!

I agree with Fred, lets celebrate!
