    Yes, he is on an new engine. They used the same one in China and Japan. Unless they want to risk a 3rd race on it...

    Monza is when he exploded so new engine in China.

    This is the exact question I was wondering, I'm sure Alonso will be pretty safe with it, considering all he has to do is finish eigth to win the title.

    I bet the ratings will be a floop with Michael out of the points unless Alonso is hit by lighting on the golf course

    i doubt. many will come to cheer Michael for his extraordinary career, even if it means he losing out to FA at that particular race. for some reason, deep down, i just have this felling that things will go towards MS's and Ferrari's way.

    I highly doubt that, if anything ratings will be up in order to watch Michael in his last Grand Prix before he retires. Even if it's looking pretty much impossible for him to win the championship I'm sure Ferrari is going to make a very strong showing in brazil.

    Alonso will be running a new detuned engine. This is good for Ferrari as whenever someone trys to play it extra safe it usually blows up in their face.

    Both Ferrari's and Renault's will get new engines.

    Renault will use either the proven Suzuka spec engine or the Intergalos spec special. They will see how testing goes this week.

    Second race or not Alonso would still be on a new engine. If he qualifies fifth and takes the ten spot hit to fifteenth, I can't imagine it being hard for him to catch up to eighth to get the one spot he needs in the worst case scenario to clinch the title.

    Schumacher is using a new engine with 20 more hp according to www.f1live.com. Lets hope he at least wins the race, the rest is up to the racing gods.

    would that give the ManuChamp to Ferrari?
