Dont know the car, but its gorgeous. I would shy away from a convertible with black interior. Unless you like roasted nuts. (SMILE)

there is usually a reason for this... If a car does not sell after a year at a dealer, there may be something behind that "story"

    Not necessarily.....

I missed (missed it by $3K) on buying a '98 355 from an individual that had it at a local authorized Ferrari dealer for 9 months. It didn't sell at the dealer however, it sold in two weeks after he took it back home. This individual asked the dealer to lower the price $10K at the beginning of the summer so that it would sell and the dealer told him "No, there's a buyer out there somewhere". The car ended up selling for $22k less than the dealer's asking price. Was there something wrong with this car? Heck no, ALL records (completely dealer maintaned) books, and tools. In fact, the valve guides had been replaced. I think if a car is overpriced it will be difficult to sell; you price it right and it will sell.

There is no story behind the car, it was sold to a owner of a local (domestic) dealership and he realised it wasn't the best idea to drive a Ferrari while selling another brand so he sold it back to SoSF.

If you're seriously interested in any car at Ferrari SF, talk to Brad Goldstone, the GM. He's a stand up good guy and will swing you a good deal. I bought my first Porsche from him back in the days when he was at Rector Porsche and and sent all my friends to him since.
