ha ha.. a BB is THE toughest Ferrari to drive, bar none. (Ok a daytona takes some wrestling).. Not that that's a good quality, just that they're "special" is all! If a BB were a person/animal, it would be... a "Boxer" like Ali.. a 348 would be.... Franki Dettori (jockey)... and a 612 would be... king kong No, the 612 is seriously impressive... there's something incredible about VERY powerful VERY VERY heavy cars... Somehow, their power combined with their weight gives security you don't sense in lighter cars with same power/weight ratio. Just my opinion, but I've driven them all.
speaking of which i spotted a white 512BB in Adlgate in the sadelaide hills about 8:30 this morning. looked (and sounded) very nice. i didn't think there would be too many white 512's around. do you know the car Rob? owner also has a series 3 e-type roadster.
Hi Warren, could be the 4000km injection car that was sold at shannons early this year I think ex QLD car.
i didn't get a chance to talk with the owner, but apparantly he lives within a couple of km so i'll keep an eye out.
Another F430 Spider ready for delivery at Barbagallo, love the Challenge wheels. Its such a shame about 80% of F430's here are Spiders.... (sorry for ****ty pic, best I could do through the glass). Image Unavailable, Please Login
If it was the Shannons injected car, then it has tan cloth, with a sort of tartan insert from memory - just like an 80's Porsche. Must have been a special order when new. Not my taste but unusual and original so you'd think twice before changing it to leather, even though it probably detracts from the value of the car. Bet you can't wait to meet the guy Rob and tell him how much you think your car is worth! ;-)
yep, you can actually see its reflection in that F430 picture. Looks great, and only has something like 600kms on the clock.
well what a day of Ferrari spotting it was today all @ chapel st prahran 3 x F430 spider (2 red 1 yellow) - all parked outside cafe siena 1 x F430 coupe red 1 x 308GTS red 1 x 550M blue Then on the way home, a certain PIGGISHLY loud yellow 348TS some of you will know. I played with him the whole way home and at one point he launched it sideways from the lights
well i dont carry a camera around everywhere (perhaps i should!) was just cool to see so many in a single afternoon....got video footage of the 348 on mates camera phone...sounded horn chapel st is fast becoming the place to spot ferraris in melbourne...PP, its safe for you to go there now i think
you would have wet yourself watching this 348 boot along Papadopoulos its far from pristine, and the yellow painted rear grill looks naff....but something decidedly chub inducing about a Ferrari actually being driven HARD shame that 99% of Fcars I see are parked at cafes.
Ha.. I saw this car again.. btw I'm assuming it is the same one as I saw this within a few blocks of the last sighting. It is now bright shiny red, lots of vents in the bodyword and it appears the have a diagonal brace in the car. Again, only saw it while I was turning a corner.. and no camera again. Still, it certainly grabs your attention. Greg
