Hi Carsten, Tina & Nanna--------- I was most fortunate to be at the Monterey showing of Jim G.'s P4/5 - - absolutely, an amazing evening!!! Your pen and ink rendering breathes fire as did the red one when Jim turned the key. "Feinschmeckers" know their stuff, that's for sure. Tina's mom picked the right horse to fall for. He is the sweetest creature in the pasture - and really quite funny I'm over the moon that you're enjoying this project so much. You can only imagine how I feel as your drawing updates are presented.................. Have a wonderful, safe trip to Paris, Hank
Thanks a lot dear friend, We will enjoy every minute in Paris......it has always been one of those magical places on earth to me! I hope to post yet another update on the drawing before we take off to Paris!
Sorry, I didn't have the time to take the pictures for the next update, so it has to wait until Saturday/sunday when we get back home! Now we're off to enjoy the Paris Motor Show!! See you later guys Best Carsten

Hi Hank, As I wrote to you by mail, work on the drawing has been set on "stand-by-mode" until next Monday (October 23rd) when a journalist and a photographer will visit us and do a write-up about my drawings for an article in a national newspaper! This drawing along with a couple of her sisters will be featured in the newspaper article! More about this on Monday next week! Best Carsten
Carsten, Tina & Nanna, A short statement, OK? - - - I'm truly in a state of shock. I really hope you're enjoying this process as much as I am. I get the impression that you are; and that makes me very happy. With love, Hank
Hi Brian, Well, it's none of those.....it's our "West coast newspaper" called "Jydske Vestkysten"....I can save you a copy and send it to you, if you're interested? BTW: I haven't forgot your tube with prints....I've just been too busy lately!
Thanks dear friend, You bet I'm enjoying, .......at least equally as much as you do! BTW: I think I can manage to fit the X-OST system on the drawing.....I'll see what I can do, no promises though! With love Carsten
So now the article about my passion for cars and drawings have been published in the newspaper! The featured drawings ended up being Jim's P4/5 and the one I'm proudly doing for my dear friend Hank Garfield! Here's a small picture with the article and a bigger PDF file if someone should be interested in reading a little Danish! The article was published on wednesday this week, and took up a full page in the newspaper Copyright Jydske Vestkysten! Best Carsten Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rachel & Hot Doc Freckles are forever honored to be the objects of your pen strokes. Me, I sit in front of my screen, in total wonderment. I can only imagine what it will be like to hang this treasure on my living room wall - and then, because it's mine, be able to see it every day for the rest of my life - - Oh Baby!!!!!! My camera captured a moment in time and space - and it was comprised of pixels. A great artist removed the pixels, and in their place, he inserted heart & soul. Like those truly fortunate individuals before me, I say, "Carsten, thank you, from the bottom of my heart". With love, Hank
My dear freind, Well.........how can anyone possibly comment on such a compliment?!?!? Thanks BIGTIME Hank, you will definately have a piece of some of the best days of my life, heart and soul at your wall soon, and I truly hope you'll enjoy this drawing for many, many wonderful years and days to come..... you know why???.......Because you deserve it dear friend!!! With love and respect Carsten
