    At 8.3 liters in a Viper, you knock two cylinders off you still have an almost 420 cubic inch engine. You sure its based on the 360 block? Doesnt seem like it would leave much room for water jacket around the cylinders.

    The original viper V-10 was about 7.4 liters or 450 cu-in. That is exactly 10/8ths of a 360. It shares the same cam, crank and bore centerlines as all A-series engines going back to the early HEMI. The Viper block is not the same as the truck block but shares the same basic architecture. The Viper block was actually designed by Lamborghini (when Chrysler owned them). A V-10 will bolt up to any transmission designed for an A engine. I have seen a number of V-10's transplanted into B and E body Mopars. It just takes an electric fan on the front of the radiator and some custom motor mounts.
