The GTR is basicly a 6.0 on steroids so you wouldn't have to mod it that much other than removing the roll cage, and taking off the blower from the engine and droping in the convention engine cover which is mostly found on the SV. The rear bumper would have to come from an SV as well unless your really good at moding then you can mod a typical VT rearbumper. The interior wouldn't have to modified that much unless you want to keep the orginal racing seats in the 6.0.

Iam just afaird to hackup such a nice looking car because here where i live lamborghini's are soooooooooooo difficult to come by. Finding one here is like as rare as finding a 20dollar bill just sitting in the mens room.

I couldn't wait any longer. I have an Autoart Diablo VT and a GTR and just bought the Diablo 6.0 resin kit from APM. The kit is very good but I think I'm going to modify the shell of the GTR, use the doors, bonnet and engine cover from the VT, skirts from a SV and the wheels and various other parts from the APM kit. I will try and post pics as I go along. It is a very expensive way to get a model but I want a 6.0 sooooo badly. This should give you an idea of what it will look like....

What do you think of these?

The black and Gold ones are by ModelWorkshop, they are built by the APM Diablo 6.0 kit......650USD.

The purple one is by Versusmodel (Japan), built by APM Diablo 6.0 kit as well. But the price is far expensive.... 650EUR. It is painted by PPG paint and handbuilt by Japanese modeler. Limited to 10 pieces worldwide.

    Mike,

They look great. I might have second thoughts on my plans as I've noticed that the 6.0 is quite a bit different to the GTR. The front of the 6.0 is wider and there are stronger, sharper lines in the body work. The APM model is very accurate.

Had this email today from Autoart/GatewayGlobal:

'We are still interested in doing the Diablo 6.0 in the future'

    Keep your fingers crossed!
