$31,500 for a Car that has 134-hp no Leather no Cruise no A/C and that does not even look cool?

Why did it get built? When there are so many better cars for the money even with the DaimlerChrysler family? I was just look in too because I am think of put out about 20-30K for a car about wanted to see what was out there. I was shocked that for 3K less I could get a Dodge Caliber with Leather Cruise A/C Awd 6 CD and DVD Nav. I guess the kid who grow up buy stuff just because it Nike are buying cars now and the manufactures are ready to rip them off.

Thats why everyone's buying the Koreans and Japanese cars in that segment.
Euro Imports and Domestics can't compete with the price.

I would look into the Acura RDX, its around 35000, but worth every penny!

Benz can't even give away these B class cars. They are basicly rebadged chrysler products. I have maybe only seen 2 on the road with my own eyes (heck its more rare to see then a 360 come to think of it!!), but I see a bunch on them sitting on the lot at the local dealer.

The B Turbo model is fun to drive as there is a nice pep to the engine. Would never pay what they are asking for it though.

The non-turbo is so slow, it's like a bigger smart car.

My neighbors own the B class. I took a look at it, its pretty crumby. There are alot of good cars in the $35,000 area.

On the topic of Chrysler, we were out looking at cars yesterday. Its such a contrast between the Domestic sales persons and the import sales people. At Ford, GM and Chrysler they seriously were trying to get us to buy right then and there. At Toyota, Subaru, Honda they pretty much summed it up with So when ever you want to test drive X car, just phone me up and we can get you into one.

Interesting....i hate it when car places or real estate agents try and pressure like that. How can that still work in todays market place.

The new R-Class is a POS as well I think.

Sorry, I'm used to prices in the USA, so I am not sure what is in the $35K range here. :) But RDX is nice, and I assume that's close.

funny you guy's are talking about this, After coming to north york, i've had to be under the two sales managers, after trying this for a month and watching them blow up at least 8 deals I couldn't take it anymore and got into a HUGE argument with one of the managers, these greedy bastards low-ball the trade and not even give a break on the car!I couldn't take it anymore and basically quit, after driving around for a couple of hours I decided that I couldn't do that to my friend that gave me this oppourtunity, we sat down and I explained that these guys are too greedy and I am not going to sell anything with these two in charge he agreed and I now approve my own deals, but i 100% agree with you guy's on this one, their mentality here is absolutely mind-blowing, i understand the "grab as much as you can" part of car sales, but if i am willing to make less on commision just to make a deal shouldn't they?
anyway's thank someone that i don't have to work under them anymore, or i would have ended up breaking someone's nose!
    *end of *****ing*

Barely, Benz's are made in Alabama, Bmers are made in South Carolina, That leaves Porsches in Stuttgart, the last true German Marque.

All AMG Benzes are made in Germany.

And as far as I know, only R and ML-Classes are made in Alabama.
