Hi, my name is Gary. I saw the run at the air show today and I noticed some Vipers were there. I have A Blue with white stripes 96GTS. I love Ferraris and would like to get one, but not right now. I was wondering if I could join in the fun next time you get together. I wish I could have gotten one of those speeding tickets as a souvenir. That was cool.

Awesome day even though not everything went the way we were told it would.

I took about 600 photos, so it'll take me a little while to upload them to my gallery.

Here is one of my favorite shots from today.

I too had a good time. Yes, the event got off on the wrong foot with the Airport Manager(?), but was worth it in the end. It was nice to see the cars get "opened up," just unfortunate we could go a full mile before having to slow down. Thanks to Wes and Doug for the event! Thanks also to those owners who were just fun to chat with. Don't worry Miguel, I won't make anymore wise cracks about you wanting to cut the grass with you CS, lol. The Vipers made a good showing. Let's bring a Viper Tech out next time so they can tell John that it's okay to drive his car, it can go past 70, j/k.

I was feeling pretty beat and had to leave just before the Jet Car unfortunately. No disrespect intended for those I did not say goodbye to as I left.

Lol. We all know that the drug money isn't as good as you say it is.

Thanks again to those who put this together-it was a great event.

It's a long story... The airport manager was a total dick! He wouldn't let anyone warm up their tires and they wanted us to brake at the half mile point, even though everyone signed waivers. They actually thought that we would tear up the runway that huge jets land on. A couple of people got pissed and left.
Then they made Chad (with the radar gum) stand way off to the side of the runway, so the indicated speeds weren't accurate at all.

I don't think anyone was able to go over 165 or 170 MPH.

Wes hit over 170, and I believe Miguel hit 171.....Don't remember the actual numbers. Everyone received a "ticket" though with their speed.
