http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/25092006/13/honda-ross-brawn.html i know this is a rumor but i read it today in the paper as well. it does make sence though as MS has left, but why Honda? i suppose maybe because its based in Brackley, UK so it would be on home soil and maybe wants a fellow Brit JB to win WC in the near future????
With Schumacher leaving, I can not imagine that Ferrari would let Mr. Brawn leave the family. At any price.
yer thats what i was thinking, i would hate it if he did go to another team though! i still reakon its a load of BS
Check out www.grandprix.com. It looks as though Brawn will take a 12 month sabbatical and then come and replace Jean Todt, who will retire.......
Maybe Ross misses Rubinho's constant whining about not getting a good lap in qualifying or that how he was almost as fast as Michael (or Jenson).
Not only Ross Brawn is leaving us. Todt to vacate team boss post Tue 24 Oct, 8:55 AM view photo Ross Brawn's retirement or 'sabbatical' will be confirmed by Ferrari this week, according to widespread media reports. London broadsheet 'The Times' quoted race and test technical manager Nigel Stepney as saying the team reshuffle 'is not going to be easy' for the Maranello based squad. "I don't know at the moment what's happening to Ross," he insisted, "but taking two or three members out of the team and with people moving up into their places - it's difficult to say." Stepney's comments give rise to speculation that the Briton might be near the front of the queue to fill posts. Luca Baldisseri is tipped to take over from Brawn as technical director, the Italian 'Ansa' news agency said. Ansa added : "Team principal Jean Todt in all likelihood will leave the paddock and focus more on running the company." Stefano Domenicali may take over from the Frenchman at the helm, with Mario Almondo promoted to fill his post as sporting director. Engine chief Paulo Martinelli may also leave the team, to be replaced by Mattia Binotto, additional reports in Italy insist
wow...if this is indeed true, the Scuderia is really falling apart, aren't they? well, of course, re-shuffling would be the more appropriate word to use, but still...
I don't think any of us can even dream of the pressure each of these guys have been under for the last 10 years or so. MS leaving gives each of them the PERFECT timing to leave also.
i heard Brawn cant face future life without Schumacher, so seeing as Michael has retired he will try his luck with Ralf....
Hmm, the top people at Ferrari leave so they are to be replaced by promoted Italians. This could get interesting!
Hurray. The Lambrusco will make a come back in the Ferrari garage and the shambolic pit stops that go with it!
These people in critical positions may leave the team but don't forget that their replacements are also so talented and experienced. They're from the family. Anyway i wouldn't want to see Ross Brawn leaving Scuderia Ferrari to work at another team.
