Hi Guys! I just purchased an F355 from FL. Flying there next weekend to pick up. Wondering if you guys think its wise to drive it back to Minnesota (granted if the weather is clear). Car has 18k on it and all the major services have been done. If not I'll ship it back. Any reputable shippers?

I just bought a 348 last week and had it shipped from FL to VA. I used exotic car transport based out of Orlando and it cost me $1000.

I've used InterCity in the past (twice) and they are very professional and reasonable priced...Highly recommended.

Drive it!! You'll remember the trip for the rest of your life. I've done it with a TR, F40, Esprit Turbo, and a Mondialt cab....each trip was accross country and very memorable.

A little earlier in the year and I'd say what the heck... drive it!

But, we're turning back the clocks saturday ... its winter, so ... ship it.

Exactly--you never know if a bad storm will move in up north and dump some snow your way... Ship it and drive it when YOU know the weather will be nice

I've driven my last couple of cars over 500 miles home and hated it.

996 Turbo had to have a new battery before I picked it up and the radio code wasn't available. Alone with no tunes for 10hrs.... Not the best sounding engine to get me by either and that NJ turnpike grrrrr!

355 was very foreign to me after many years of Porsche ownership and coming from an SL55 was a real shock. Couldn't get to grips with the 355 at first. Mix in torrential rain for most of the journey in the dark and a big unmarked diversion off I85 due to a crash meant it was a journey to forget.

I've always wanted to have the new car adventure but there have been others the same as the above which mean it has always eluded me.

Good luck, you'll love the car soon enough!
