How far is that, measured from the University of Texas Tower????? LOL!
I guess you can send it back via Waterboy, or Dr. Who....if they can be trusted...LOL! Sadly you'll be two cars off the count this year, due to my recent career change.......Child Support being a Court Mandate, and all.... I haven't said anything 'till now 'cuz we were really trying to make it..... A good selection of interests will benefit from this year's event.. "Let the good times roll!!!"
How the crow flies, Rockdale is 50.77 miles from the UT Tower. It's not a matter of who you know... I paid $130.00 for an FCA membership and I got an invite.
Sorry, Mike......It's all good! I was mentioning the Fchat member, LogIn "Waterboy"...a friend of Dr. Who, John Future Owner and I here ..I see him often at events but he does not posts often... He's the "HOUSTON" FCA Chapter treasurer! So sorry for the confusion and no reflection on your position there! Do you still see MMan around? Forward my regards! I have had FCA card in year's past, but not at this time......It blew out the window of TSpringer's Daytona at the 2004 FFQC....see the connection?
Okay, I'm sorry. I guess I jumped the gun. Since I'm the Secretary-Treasurer of the Hill Country chapter I thought you were talking about me. I've been called a lot worse than waterboy before, but I thought it was a bit unprovoked. MM has been busy with his new baby, so I haven't seen him much, but I'm pretty sure he's doing good.
The schedule posted above seems incorrect because I got my invitation from Shelton Ferrari and the event is in Ft. Lauderdale on Nov 1.
He's been busy if he has HAD a new baby...LOL! I'm sure the schedule varies as events unfold...........they can only use Shell stations, you know.....
Does anyone know what time in the AM they tend to leave a city where they stayed overnight? For example, when they leave New Orleans, I'm trying to guestimate the time they'll be passing through Tallahassee.
The Puma store in North Miami Beach sells the t shirts with the various countries in the pan am stops.
sorry ...a little late but here's what happened in Mexico City http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUn_Vf6QuwI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXCBEdWwNg0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjWk0VTg8e0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7u-wH4l74SM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lAukaR_wGs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmFME4lQG4M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQPuPpYbQE4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Goe9Qp-rh8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qj98g5fqeL4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ixz4_UMxVnM
I'm sure. But from the schedule it looks like they missed by a few hours... looks like they'll be departing New Orleans the morning of 11/2... and FFQC starts afternoon 11/2. I can't believe they got so close to the ultimate event and didn't stick around for it!! Sheesh... what were they thinking!?
Word is that one of the 599s will make it to FQC and catch up with the other one later on that night somewhere on I-10! You coming back this year Brian?
I see that they will be in Milwaukee on 11/11 and then planning to take the Lake Express ferry across Lake Michigan to Muskegon. The only problem is the ferry ceases operation on 10/31 for the season.
They should getting close to Dallas about now, FarmerDave & a couple other FChatters are going to go greet them at the hotel.
Does anyone have an idea of what time in the morning they leave each overnight city? I'm interested in what time they'll be leaving New Orleans because that will guide me on when they are coming through my area.
