I was asked to repost pictures of the FE mount in my 1980 308GTBi. Pictures from the old forum have evaporated. Absolutely easiest to use. I had to use it once and was able to pull it in one smooth motion as I exited the car.

A 2.5# Halon FE is afixed to 1.5" x 3/16" steel mounted under rear driver side seat bolts. The bracket is bent to fit the side shape and welded in an 'L' shape. First picture, from outside the car looking in, shows how it can also be easily accessed by reaching in the window. Next picture shows how it doesn't interfere with seat belt or seat adjustment. The Halon FE w/vehicle mount was purchased from Hiller Systems online store - $84 free shipping.

Thanks. Every gasoline-fueled sports car should have a fire extinguisher in the cockpit (and an automatic unit in the engine bay).
