Definitely, I had 3 bike accidents in 4 months through a heavy right wrist (no jokes please!!), its so damn easy to fall off at speed or taking bends silly, I had a close call on an Rg500 so in the end I gave up and stuck to cars
I think bikes are fine in the right hands... When boy racers get them on the other hand, things often turn nasty. Reminds me, on Monday a car pulled out of the junction at the end of my street and was hit by a bike (hopefully driver was okay) But this seems to be happening all too often when the bikes aren't seen.
Whats your definition of a boy racer, I would define it as a 50cc moped with big bore exhaust, the ones you see in groups of about 10 riding around
Exactly. But also the ones riding around pavements etc on scramblers. I think I used the wrong term 'Boy Racer', I really just meant people that buy them to speed around and drive like idiots.
too many cars / police on the road today to fully utilise a fast bike get it on the track for some fun! same goes with cars I guess
Agreed, Mini Motos were the worst as you could buy them so cheap, but as the police now confiscate and crush them you don't really see them anymore
My bro did that, he went from ultra fast crotch rockets to Harleys, and he now loves them for cruising (with all the traffic on the roads) and wouldn't have jap again
I would love to go round there, the trouble is as its so long it takes so many attempts to get it right
Today I watched monday nights episode, I had it on tape and there was nothing else to watch, Wtf is the point of cutting up a peugeot, I mean that made really interesting viewing NOT!!!, I ended up forwarding through nearly the whole programme it was that boring
Have you seen Wheeler Dealers with Mike Brewer and his sidekick Ed China, the man with the worst toolkit I've ever seen.
Quote from Wikipedia: 'It has often been asserted, most recently in a column in The Guardian newspaper, that Westwood was the inspiration for Ali G, the caricature wigger portrayed by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.' 'Critics such as Toby Young have also derided Westwood's apparent emulation of African-American pronunciation and dialect, which is claimed to be at odds with his middle class Anglo-Saxon origins.' What a joke
Recorded tonights episode, haven't watched it yet, although I know they feature the 599, so for once i'm looking forward to the programme
