Another nice(!) clip of my 348 with the X-ost

Very cool DR.G! I pm'd Daniel earlier. Waiting for his reply so that I can order one too. I said I would on the 30th October. I will do some before and after dyno runs to see any HP difference with the XOST. Plus I will weigh the twin muffler setup like my 21/91TB has and then weigh the XOST as well. Although I think henkie said the XOST weighs 11kg(24.25 pounds). I will get back to ya's asap.

 

Done and done!! Daniel is the king!! When the new batch of XOST hit Ricambi from Italy, he will post one out to me. Wont be long before I will be listening to the way the 348's are supposed to sound!!

 

Pap, I'm sure you'll notice the difference in throttle response as Dr. G stated. But the sound......is......well.........you'll see..........unbelievable!!! It's what the 348 should sound like.

I'm curious as to the difference in weight as I never weighed mine. I was too anxious to install mine to stop and weigh them, but it is definitely tons lighter than stock.

Are you getting the cats as well?

BYW, when I filmed the clip, I was on a closed road in the old Fort Ord military base here in Monterey. The road at the end of my first drive by was a slight incline followed by a slight downhill stretch. As I was decelerating and got to the crest of the hill, I looked down the road and about 500 yards ahead saw some bicyclists lined up across the road with golf ball sizes eyeballs staring at me. I never knew that this road was now a bicycle path for the public. Anyway I was never in danger of hitting any of them, it was just the sound that scared a few of them.

 

Mmmmm.......cant wait!! I will weigh it, cause once its on, it aint coming off. Im not getting the cats at the moment. Not enough cash to do so. That clip you posted, like henkies, sounds AWESOME! I reckon my computer speakers dont do it justice either. I person, im sure it will blow me away.

 

Just wanted to get this back on the 1st page. My XOST should be here very soon.
