The outback... mmmmhhhh... is it even possible to get a traffic ticket there? Or you can just floor it forever without getting jailed like here?
Sadly, you can get a speeding ticket anywhere here in Australia. Except the Northern Territory. The NT has open speed limits ect......BUT, if you read this thread, that may all come to a halt. That section of road my 348 is on, is notorious for Police patrols and Speed Camera Vans setup to catch you. So it looks like fun to nail it, you have to be very cautious. You may like looking at these threads from the Aussie section. 2005 and 2006, a group of mates all decided to truck some cool exotics to the outback NT to do some top speed driving LEGALLY. I was going to go this year with them in my 348, but my Dad got very ill. So I missed out. So it will suck ass if they do bring in the speeding laws there.
