Just wanted to say thanks to all that participated in today's drive and dine. I truly had a great time today. The Davis P.D. and tenants were actually grateful for today's event. Thank's to Mario for putting the drive together and your client list for participating. Great Fun... This could be the start of something really fun. The next drive and dine will benefit a charitable cause. If this is something that would interest the group, we could schedule something in the near future. Pics are downloading... Allen, I'll be waiting for the VID and pics... and Colby, kids rock...............

    Thanks to all...

    Angelo

Many thanks to you too Angelo. It was more than just me to pull this off and your hands were trully invloved with getting this done.

Many thanks to my clients that jumped at the chance to drive and enjoy what I call the Ferrari Culture. It is always nice to drive with you and the crew outside of the business.

Many more thanks to our friends at Pasta Q....there reception, excitement, and invlovement made the event trully ...Italian Style. I believe we owned that place for 3 hours.

Thanks to the Davis PD for getting us in...that is the only way to role into town!!!

As promisssed I will continue to have 3 of these per year...anymore than that and I'll petition to be a spectator. fhew..i'm beat...but back to the store tomorrow.

Looking forward to the pics and Alan's videos.

    As always...Forza Ferrari!!!

Great weather, good food, lots of atmosphere and scenery at Pasta?, great people.

and most of us got to see some road after the Isleton bridge that we would have never seen otherwise :D (was it right or left at the bridge :D )

Will have pics up soon, video in a couple of days.

If you posted that second shot in the "pretty girls with Ferraris" thread, there'd be no point in continuing the thread. This seems to be the ultimate pairing.

You would not have known unless you were invited by me. This event was for my clients. I do it 3 times per year. Take no offense..it was not a come one come all event...it was private.

Or you could pass on that opportunity, join one of ErnieGT's numerous drives throughout the summer, and get the same if not more enjoyment out of a drive with a diverse group of cars...

If you have a police escort then we'll dub it "Running of the Horses"....

No doubt you will get more enjoyment from Ernie...you don't own a Ferrari yet ;) (Right back at you...with the enjoyment comment)

    Mario

P.S. Your Dad was invited and could have shared in the festivities...and he did not purchase his Ferrari from me... Again no offense to you but this was a private event for my clients.

Dont worry, no offense taken, I was just curious as to how there could be so many ferraris so close to me and I wouldn't have known about it.

Don't worry, I'll probably have him try to sniff out a stradale for me soon. However, everybody keeps on telling me that I should buy a house first.

Yea, I've been on ernies drives before and they're a blast, a bit long but a blast.

Of course it's a matter of personal opinion, but for me driving with a mixed group of high end sports cars such as Lotus, Porsche, BMW, Ford, Lamborghini, as well as Ferrari's is just far more exciting and appealing than driving with a group of only one marque. Take no offense, I feel you and your clientele should hold private events and drives such as this as well as the rampage, especially since your clientele bought into exclusivity. I must admit, a police escort seemed a little over the top and showy but again that's my opinion. I was unaware my father was invited, and I'm sure he appreaciated that invitation; however, he seems to have the same beliefs as I do. Irregardless of owning a Ferrari, I'll always find more enjoyment in driving with a mixed group. For now I'll stick with British cars, but after experiencing the Diablo 6.0 and Gallardo, I must say I fancy myself a bit of a Lambo guy now. Totally different world, that's for sure.... Best Regards...

Exclusivity is the reason people buy Ferrari...the reason why all other marques chase them....and the reason you are here on the web board...its Ferrari-chat.

The Police escort was offered by the PD..respectfully it was taken.....I am certain you and your father would have stayed in line an followed along. I doubt you would of said "no thanks..thats too showey for me."

To each his own. Car guy you are.....Enjoy the drives you engage in....

Yikes, those last two shots don't say much for the paint quality on that 360... speaking of which, am I the only one who has noticed this quality on most 360's? Almost every 360 that ive closely examined under flourescent light has appeared like that mostly on the doors, and front/rear fenders. Just seems like there's a lot left to be desired there.

Haha! Unless theres an F40, 288GTO, 250SWB, or Cal-spyder in there, don't waste your time Allan! The seven will have to work for now until I can scrounge up an extra few hundred thousand which I wouldn't blow on one car.... :) That black quattroporte is nice however...
