I am looking to purchase my first Ferrari, and I want to get a Mondial (For many different reasons) Price, Four Seats, and the Clutchless transmission. I think I want the Valeo transmission so my wife would feel comfortable dirving it, and packing along our children, hopefull this will alow me to look down the road at a newer two seater. Does anyone have any thoughts or feeling on the Valeo Transmission. Is this a solid platform, or potential problem and money pit.

It was a great technological step and worked very well. The cars are very rare, parts are even more rare and people that have any real experience taking care of them even more rare.

They are heard of in only 2 ways. Someone who heard of them, coming along and looking for one and someone doing a global search for parts to fix one.

Teach your wife to be comfortable driving a stick, in the long run everybody will be much better off.
