Should we rename this forum to 348/355/NSX?

  1. Yes, rename it. An NSX is more reliable than a Ferrari and about the same size.

  2. No, don't rename it. An NSX is nice but not a Ferrari.

  3. No, don't rename it. Move NSX discussion to the 360 session and let them deal with it.

Last time I checked this was still Ferrarichat not HondaChat so I say delete all threads not posted in off topic that deal with another make of car.

I beg to differ, dude! The 308 -> 328 is evolutionary although there is a greater difference in the cars than their appearance suggests.

The 348 is more than evolutionary. For starters, the engine/drive line design is totally different and the rear wheels got pushed out to the rear as a result. Now the powerplant may be evolutionary from the 328, however, its placement to the transaxle is a quantum leap. Heck, the 288 GTO is more 328 than is the 348.

From there, the 355 is evolutionary to the 348 - just better and more refined everything. I agree that the 360 is an other quantum leap in that the car is a total redesign, not to mention uses aluminum everywhere.

So, in summary they appear in pairs: 308/328; 348/355; 360/430. That makes more sense. If anything you might claim that the 328 -> 348 jump was not as great as the 355 -> 360 redesign. Maybe the 430 -> ? leap will be greater.
